THIS AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT is made and entered into by and between
the CITY of ATASCADERO, a Municipal Corporation (“City”), and Wallace Group
(“Consultant”) All certifications and assurances as agreed to in the specifications and
contract dated September 22nd, 2015 are hereby incorporated into this amendment. The
following scope of work and compensation are in addition to that specified in the
aforementioned contract:
REGARDING ITEM EXHIBIT A – SCOPE OF SERVICES: Exhibit A Scope of Work is
hereby amended to include the additive scope of services listed on the document
attached to this Amendment. This additional scope of work is generally defined as
preparing 100% PS&E documents for all 3 phases of the project.
REGARDING ITEM EXHIBIT B - COMPENSATION AND METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Exhibit B is hereby amended to include the estimated costs for work required to
complete additional items of work identified above on a time and materials basis using
the 2026 hourly rates included in the proposal dated March 16, 2026 . Total additional
compensation not to exceed the net contract increase of $484,049.00 for a total revised
contract price of $1,302,549.00.
All other terms of the original Contract remain in effect.

ADDITIVE SCOPE OF SERVICES
This amendment includes scope of work to bring project Plans, Specifications, and
Estimate to shovel-ready status, as detailed in the Additive Scope of Services proposal,
dated March 16, 2026. Additional consultant services and deliverables are summarized
as follows:
1. Task 1: Project Management
a. Services: Project management, meetings, QA/QC
b. Deliverables: Status reports, invoicing, schedules, meetings agendas and
notes
2. Task 2: Survey and ROW Services
a. Services: Topographic and utility survey, right-of-way engineering
b. Deliverables: Topographic survey (CAD file and PDF), legal description
and map exhibits for City Row acquisition, ROW transfer exhibit, post-
construction Record of Survey
3. Task 3: Geotechnical Design Services
a. Services: Geotechnical recommendations and design
b. Deliverables: Final geotechnical design report
4. Task 4: Design Package #1: East Side Improvements
a. Services: Caltrans encroachment permit coordination, storm water
analysis, traffic analysis, plan preparation, specification preparation, cost
estimate preparation
b. Deliverables: Storm Water Data Report, Draft and Final Traffic
Memorandum, Draft and Final Caltrans Encroachment Permit, project
plans, project specifications, Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost, Storm
Water Control Plan
5. Task 5: Design Package #2: Ramona Road Realignment
a. Services: Storm water analysis, plan preparation, specification
preparation, cost estimate preparation
b. Deliverables: Project plans, project specifications, Engineer’s Opinion of
Probable Cost, Storm Water Control Plan, drainage report, stormwater
Operations and Maintenance Plan
6. Task 6: Design Package #3: US 101 SB Ramps Intersection Improvements
a. Services: Caltrans encroachment permit coordination, storm water
analysis, plan preparation, specification preparation, cost estimate
preparation
b. Deliverables: Storm Water Data Report, Draft and Final Caltrans
Encroachment Permit, project plans, project specifications, Engineer’s
Opinion of Probable Cost, Storm Water Control Plan
