Roadwork Schedule for
Viejo Camino & Paloma Court on
El Camino Real
The City of Atascadero would like to announce roadwork scheduled to repave Viejo
Camino between El Camino Real and Paloma Court beginning this Friday, June 5th.
Paving work is expected to take approximately two weeks, with final striping to be
completed by the beginning of July. The contractor will be closing Viejo Camino to
through traffic between El Camino Real and the Paloma Park northern driveway during
construction. For access to Paloma Park or Halcyon Road, please use Santa Barbara Road
to Viejo Camino. For residents of the Bordeaux House Apartments and on La Paloma
Court, access will be maintained throughout the project, but there may be delays of up to
20 minutes during construction activities.
Wednesday, 6/5: Lowering utilities. Roadway will remain open, but will have
intermittent closures and flagging control.
Thursday, 6/6 – Friday, 6/7: Roadway grinding.
Monday, 6/10 – Friday, 6/14: Roadway repaving.
During construction activities, RTA stops will be relocated. The City is working with
RTA to finalize temporary locations.
