A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
ADOPTING CITYWIDE PURCHASING PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, the basic purchasing policy of the City of Atascadero is to obtain quality
supplies, services, vehicles and equipment needed for the proper operation of its various
divisions at the lowest possible overall cost.
WHEREAS, this includes maintaining a purchasing system that ensures maximum use of
fair and open competition and receipt of the best value for funds available, consistent with
applicable laws and regulations.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO:
That the attached Purchasing Policy is included as a part of this resolution and is hereby
approved, effective 30 days after the second reading of Ordinance No. 386.
On motion of Council Member Johnson and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Scalise, the foregoing
Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety.

NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Luna
