RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DESIGNATING A LIMITED TIME PARKING ZONE ON LARGA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 4-2.1301, et. seq., of the Atascadero Municipal Code allows
the City Traffic Engineer to designate limited time parking zone, and to place and
maintain appropriate signs or markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS, staff has studied the traffic problems at this location and has
determined that prohibiting parking from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
will improve the situation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero directs the
City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate signs or markings as indicated on
attached "Exhibit A".
On motion by Mayor Pro Tem Arrambide and seconded by Council Member
Clay,the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Arrambide, Clay, Luna, Scalise and Mayor Johnson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: October 26, 1999
