Caltrans manual for traffic control and work area traffic
control handbook. No street closure shall be permitted unless
previously arranged for and granted by the City Engineer. ,
13.The City will supply testing personnel to complete compaction
and material tests. The contractor shall provide the
equipment to expose materials to be tested. The cost of
complying with the City's testing program shall be considered
as included in the bid prices and no additional payment shall
be made.

MATERIALS
1. Polyvinylchloride pipe shall be ribbed pipe with smooth
interior. Pipe material shall comply with ASTM F 794, ASTM 0

(greater than or equal to 10 psi). PVC storm drain pipe shall
be J -M Perma-Loc pipe or approved equal.
2. Polyvinylchloride (PVC) sewer service pipe and fittings shall
conform to ASTM 03034 with integral bell gasket joints.
Rubber gaskets shall be Factory installed and conform to ASTM
F477. Pipe shall be made of PVC plastic having a cell
classification of 12454A or 133649 as defined in ASTM 01784
and shall have SDR of 35 and minimum pipe stiffness of 46PSI
according to ASTM test 02412.
3. Portland cement concrete and related materials shall be
according to Section 90 OF the State Standard Specifications,
"Portland Cement Concrete". Portland Cement Concrete shall
have a 28 -day compressive strength with 3500 pounds per inch
or greater.
4. Reinforcement steel shall be according to Section 52
of the State Standard Specifications, "Reinforcement", and
the requirements of ASTM A 615 and ASTM 706.
S. Asphalt Concrete shall be according to Section 39 of the State
Standard Specifications, "Asphalt Concrete," type B asphalt
concrete with with 1/2 inch aggregate.
