RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DESIGNATING A SURVEY AREA IN THE CITY OF ATASCADERO PURSUANT TO
HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33310
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to determine if a redevelopment project
within the City of Atascadero is feasible; and
WHEREAS, Health& Safety Code Section 33310 provides the authority for the City
Council to designate a survey area by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the designation of a survey area is for project study purposes only and the
designation of the boundaries of the survey area may not result in the final boundaries of any
proposed project area.
NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DOES RESOLVE,DECLARE,DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Atascadero requires study to determine if a redevelopment
project within the designated survey area is feasible.
SECTION 2. That the survey area for project study purposes consist of properties
located in the Urban Services Line of the City and all property located not located in the Urban
Services Line east of State Highway 101.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 23rd day of June, 1998, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Council Members Clay, Lerno, Luna and Mayor Pro Tem Johnson
Nays: None
Absent: Mayor Carden
