RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DESIGNATING A NO PARKING ZONE
ON A PORTION OF VIEJO CANIINO
WHEREAS, Section 4-2.1101, et. sea., of the Atascadero Municipal Code allows the City
Traffic Engineer to designate "No Parking" areas, and to place and maintain appropriate signs or
markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS,the Traffic Committee has determined that establishing a No Parking zone
on a portion of Viejo Camino will provide for increased traffic safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero directs the City
Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate signs or markings as indicated in the attached
"Exhibit "A".
On motion by Council Member Luna, and seconded by Council Member Johnson,the
foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Clay, Johnson, and Luna
NOES: Council Member Lerno
ABSENT: Mayor Carden
ADOPTED: January 27, 1998
