RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA, NAMING THE ZOO SERVICE BUILDING
AT THE CHARLES PADDOCK ZOO
THE "BUTTLES BUILDING"
The City Council of the City of Atascadero, California, hereby
resolves as follows:
1. The Mayor and the City Council hereby declare that the
zoo service building at the
Charles Paddock Zoo be named the "Buttles Building".
2. Whereas, the facility and other zoo improvements have
been accomplished by means of substantial gifts and
contributions from the Buttles Foundation Trust, and
3. Whereas, the naming of the zoo services building is
consistent with the City of Atascadero's Policy For
Naming Public Buildings, and the Cities desire to
recognize their generosity.
4. The Zoo Staff is hereby authorized to appropriate
funds, if necessary; for the installation of a sign for
the building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Atascadero, held on the 26th of November, 1996.
