HomeMy WebLinkAbout98010-A4 Boy Scouts of America (Approved 2016) AMENDMENT #4 TO LEASE AGREEMENT (CONTRACT NO. 98010) This Amendment#4 to Lease Agreement("Amendment") is made and entered into this 1'day of March, 2016 by and between the City of Atascadero, a Municipal Corporation, organized and existing under the general laws of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "Landlord", and Charter organizations (Sponsors) for Boy Scouts (units/Troops) of America, Non-profit Organizations in California, hereinafter referred to as "Tenant(s) or Co-Tenants". 1. On August 1St, 2007, the Landlord and Co-Tenants entered into a Lease Agreement ("Lease")with regard to the premises described in Exhibit"A"to the Lease. 2. Co-Tenant and Sponsor for Troop 150, BSA, Atascadero Elks Lodge #2733, has requested to be removed as a Co-Tenant from the Lease and the Landlord and other Co-Tenants have agreed to the requested removal. 3. Co-Tenant and Sponsor for Troop 155, BSA, Knights of Columbus, Atascadero, has requested to be removed as a Co-Tenant from the Lease and the Landlord and other Co-Tenants have agreed to the requested removal. 4. Co-Tenant and Sponsor for Troop 226, BSA, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2814, has requested to be removed as a Co-Tenant from the Lease and the Landlord and other Co-Tenants have agreed to the requested removal. 5. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2814 is the sponsor for Boy Scout Troop 51, and hereby requests to be formally added to the lease. Other Co-Tenants have agreed to the requested addition. 6. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2814 is hereby added as a Co-Tenant to the Lease and the Landlord and other co-tenants hereby consent to the requested addition. _7. _ Knights of Columbus—Council#3648 is the sponsor for Boy Scout Troop 5-1; and hereby requests to be formally added to the lease. Other Co-Tenants have agreed to the requested addition. 8. Knights of Columbus — Council #3648 is hereby added as a Co-Tenant to the Lease and the Landlord and other co-tenants hereby consent to the requested addition. 7. Except as modified by this Amendment, all of the remaining terms of the Lease shall remain in full force and effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties (Co-Tenants) hereto have executed this Lease on the date set forth opposite their respective names.
