Recommendation: Committee approve the Draft Action Minutes of the
May 31, 2017 Finance Committee Meeting. [City Clerk]

regarding any items within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee whether or not
the item appears on the agenda. Individual audience participation is limited to three

CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Moreno called the meeting to order at 3:37 p.m.
PRESENT: COMMITTEE MEMBERS: Heather Moreno, Chair
Charles Bourbeau, Vice Chair
Gere Sibbach
Rachelle Rickard
Jeri Rangel
ABSENT: COMMITTEE MEMBERS: None
ALSO PRESENT: Amanda Muther, Deputy City Clerk
Lynda Horejsi, Administrative Services Accounting Specialist
A. CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. Finance Committee Draft Action Minutes – May 3, 2017 and May 10, 2017
Recommendation: Committee approve the Draft Action Minutes of the
May 3, 2017 and May 10, 2017 Finance Committee Meetings. [City Clerk]
Motion: By Committee Member Sibbach and seconded by Committee Member
Rickard to approve the Draft Action Minutes of the May 3, 2017 and May
10, 2017 Finance Committee Meeting.
Motion passed 5:0 by a roll-call vote.

B. BUSINESS:
1. Budget Discussion - Operational Funds
Administrative Services Director Rangel distributed a draft of the General Fund Budget
(Exhibit A), and provided an overview of department budgets. She and City Manager
Rickard answered questions from the Committee.
Vice Chairperson Bourbeau requested that City Council be advised of increases to the
City’s legal budget as early as possible, rather than at year-end.
