The request includes a variance to the required zero-foot setback from the street frontage in the downtown zone. General Plan Designation: D Zoning District: DC Proposed Environmental Determination: The City of Atascadero’s environmental review process incorporates the requirements in implementing the California Environmental Quality Act. Four of the greenhouses are 700 sf and one is 360 sf. The applicant also proposed the installation of a new deer fence along the property frontage to allow for expanded gardening within this area.
