Administrative Use Permit Hearing
A G E N D A
The City of Atascadero’s Zoning Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing
at 4:00 p.m. or later on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at City Hall, 6500
Palma Ave., Atascadero, to consider the following:
1. 5890 TRAFFIC WAY, PLN 2017-1646; The applicant proposes to paint a
total of 800 sf wall mural(s) for non-commercial messages (art mural).
The project is categorically exempted from CEQA as a Class 11
Exemption. Staff recommendation is for the Hearing Officer to
approve the AUP. (The Artery) (Alfredo Castillo, Associate Planner)
2. 9190 SAN DIEGO WAY, PLN 2017-1640; The applicant proposes to
construct (3) neighborhood identification signs. The project is
categorically exempted from CEQA as a Class 11 Exemption. Staff
recommendation is for the Hearing Officer to approve the AUP.
(Cencal Ventures, LLC) (Alfredo Castillo, Associate Planner)
3. 5510 DEL RIO ROAD, PLN 2017-1643; The applicant proposes to
construct (2) temporary off-site Real Estate signs, in addition to two
(2) temporary on-site subdivision signs. The project is categorically
exempted from CEQA as a Class 11 Exemption. Staff
recommendation is for the Hearing Officer to approve the AUP.
(Ephraim/MP Annex, LLC) (Alfredo Castillo, Associate Planner)
4. 8570 EL CORTE, PLN 2017-1644; The applicant proposes to construct (2)
temporary off-site Real Estate signs, in addition to two (2) temporary
on-site subdivision signs. The project is categorically exempted from
CEQA as a Class 11 Exemption. Staff recommendation is for the
Hearing Officer to approve the AUP. (Ephraim) (Alfredo Castillo,

PLEASE NOTE: Any court challenge to the actions taken at the public
hearing may be limited to considering only those issues raised at the public
hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence to the City of
Atascadero at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Any decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless a ppealed to the Planning
Commission within 14 days of the action. Any person aggrieved by the
decision may file an appeal. Appeal forms are available in the Community
Development Department or on the City’s website (www.atascadero.org).
The fee for filing an appeal is $721 and must accompany the appeal
documentation.
