ATASCADERO GREYHOUNDS
IN WINNING
1986 CIF DESERT-MOUNTAIN CONFERENCE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Greyhounds have defeated in the CIF
Desert-Mountain Conference Football Championships:
Santa Clara. . . . . . . . 22-3 Calabasas. . . . . . . . .38- 6
Woodbridge. . . . . . . . .14-7 St Joseph. . . . . . . . .26-18
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Greyhounds, through the actions of
their coaches and team members, have consistently adhered to the
highest principles of sportsmanship and fair play and thereby
bringing credit to themselves, their school, and their community.
THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by Council that the Atascadero
Greyhounds be commended and receive recognition for their sports-
manship and adherance to the principles of teamwork and expres-
sion of school spirit.
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that Council extend its congratu-
lations to Head Coach . Larry Welsh and Assistant Coaches Ed
Cabrera, John Geldreich, Art Bugg, and Matt Rink for their ef-
forts in achieving these results;
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the following 1986 Atascadero
Greyhounds are individually recognized for their accomplishments:
