RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Atasca-
dero does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement, Department
of General Services of the State of California to purchase 1984
police vehicles to current specifications for and on the behalf
of the City of Atascadero pursuant to Section 14814 , Government
Code, and that Murray L. Warden, City Manager, is hereby author-
ized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and
other documents in connection therewith for and on behlaf of the
City of Atascadero.
On motion by Councilman Molina and seconded by Councilman
Mackey , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilman Molina, Handshy, Councilwoman Norris and Mackey
and Mayor Nelson
NOES: None

The local agency accepts sole responsibility for payment to the vendor, and will make a
payment cfirectly to the vendor in accordance with the provisions of the purchase order.
It is understood that the State shall incur no financial responsibility in connection with
this purchase. The local agency agrees to pay promptly, when billed, all charges of
the Department of General Services for rendering the service.
The local agency certifies that vehicles ordered on this request will not be resold or
traded for at Ieast two model years except for vehicles used as squad cars by law
