RESOLUTION NO. 24-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL RECOM-
MENDING APPROVAL OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 1B-84
TO INCLUDE A STATEMENT WHICH ENCOURAGES ESTABLISH-
MENT OF ADDITIONAL COMMERCIAL AND LIGHT, CLEAN
INDUSTRIAL USES ON SUITABLE SITES.
WHEREAS, the Atascadero City Council conducted a public hearing
on the subject matter; and,
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 653040. 5 provides that a general
plan be amdended by the adoption of a resolution; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed General Plan Text Amendment is consistent
with the existing General Plan Land Use Text and the whole of the Gen-
eral Plan as per Section 65300.5 of the State of California Government
Code.
WHEREAS, the General Plan Text Amendment has been processed in ac-
cordance to Section 65350-65361 of the State of California Government
Code regulating the amending of the General Plan.
WHEREAS, the proposed Text Amendment has been determined to have
no adverse environmental impact.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Atascadero Planning Com-
mission does hereby recommend approval of General Plan Amendment GP
1B-84.
On motion by Councilman Wilkins and seconded by Councilman
Molina the foregoing resolution is adopted in its entirety
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilman Molina, Wilkins, Stover, Nelson and Mayor Mackey
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
