CONSENT CALENDAR
(All items on the consent calendar are considered to be routine and non -controversial by City
Staff and will be approved by one motion if no member of the Commission or public wishes to
comment or ask questions)
1. Acceptance of a Final Parcel Map for LLA 2000-0011/ ATAL 00-133

Staff recommends:
The Planning Commission accepts Final Parcel Map ATAL 00-113.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
(For each of the following items, the public will be given an opportunity to speak. After a staff
report, the Chair will open the public hearing and invite the applicant or applicant's
representative to make any comments. Members of the public will be invited to provide testimony
to the Commission following the applicant. Speakers should state their name and address for the
record and can address the Commission for five minutes. After all public comments have been
received, the public hearing will be closed, and the Commission will discuss the item and take
appropriate action(s).)
2. Conditional Use Permit 2000-0016: Large Family Daycare in RS Zoning
District, 4840 Obispo Road (Debbie French)
The project consists of a request to establish a daycare facility at an existing
residence which will handle up to fourteen children. The project site is located at
4840 Obispo Road (APN 049-102-052) with a General Plan Land Use of SSF
(Single Family Suburban) and a Zoning District of RS (Residential Suburban).
Proposed Environmental Determination: Certification of Negative Declaration
2000-030 thereby finding that no significant environmental damage would result
from the project.
Staff Recommends:
Planning Commission adopt Resolution No. PC 2000-051, thereby certifying
Negative Declaration 2000-030, and approving Conditional Use Permit 2000-
0016, based on findings and subject to conditions.
