City of Atascadero 6500 Palma Avenue - 4th floor - Atascadero, California CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC HEARINGS (For each of the following items, the public will be given an opportunity to speak. After a staff report, the Hearing Officer will open the public hearing and invite the applicant or applicant's representative to make any comments. Members of the public will be invited to provide testimony to the Commission following the applicant. Speakers should state their name and address for the record and can address the Hearing Officer for five minutes. After all public comments have been received, the public hearing will be closed, and the Hearing Officer will discuss the item and take appropriate action(s).) 1. Administrative Use Permit 2000-0004 — El Camino Real Community Event Banner Program: The proposed project consists of the installation of 32 decorative community event banners and mounting hardware on existing street light poles on El Camino Real between Curbaril Avenue and Rosario Avenue. The banners will be 2x4 feet in size and limited to messages that promote seasonal community events, commercial advertising will not be allowed. PROPOSED ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION CLASS 11: The project is consistent with the Class 11 Categorical Exemption per section 15311 of the CEQA Guidelines. The Class 11 exemption pertains to minor accessory structures and signs. Staff Recommends approval of the administrative use permit subject to conditions. ADJOURNMENT Please note: Should anyone challenge any proposed development entitlement listed on this Agenda in court, that person may be limited to raising those issues addressed at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Hearing Officer at or prior to this public hearing.
