CONSENT CALENDAR
(All items on the consent calendar are considered to be routine and non -controversial by City Staff and will
be approved by one motion if no member of the Commission or public wishes to comment or ask questions)
Approval of minutes of the regular Planning Commission meeting of May 18, 1999.
2. Approval of minutes of the regular Planning Commission meeting of June 1, 1999.
3. Tree Removal Application (Building 7 — Hotel Park; Messer Construction).
PUBLIC HEARINGS
(For each of the following items, the public will be given an opportunity to speak. After a staff report, the
Chair will open the public hearing and invite the applicant or applicant's representative to make any
comments. Members of the public will be invited to provide testimony to the Commission following the
applicant. Speakers should state their name and address for the record and can address the Commission
for five minutes. After all public comments have been received, the public hearing will be closed, and the
Commission will discuss the item and take appropriate action(s).)
4. General Plan Amendment 98003; Zone Change 98004 and Tentative Tract
Map 99001 — 3055 Traffic Way (Dan Mackey)
Applications proposing General Plan and Zoning Map Amendments and a Tentative Tract
Map to change the designations of the property from "Suburban Single Family"
(Residential Suburban zoning), to "Low -Density Multi -Family" (RMF -10 (PD7) zoning),
and to create a 34 -lot residential subdivision. Environmental determination: Mitigated
Negative Declaration 99017 has been prepared to determine and mitigate the
environmental impacts of the project. (Staff Recommendation: Adopt Resolution PC
1999-026.)
This item was continued from the June 1, 1999 meeting.
