REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING
TUESDAY, MAY 11, 1999
(immediately following City Council Regular Session)
Mayor Johnson called the Regular Session to order on Wednesday, May 12, 1999 at 12:55 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Board Members Arrambide, Clay, Lerno, Luna and Chairman Johnson
Absent: None
Others Present: Deputy Board Secretary Melanie Whaley, Board Treasurer
Rachelle Rickard and City Treasurer David Graham.
Staff Present: Executive Director Wade McKinney, Police Chief Dennis
Hegwood, Community Services Director Brady Cherry,
Community and Economic Development Director Paul Saldana,
Chief of Wastewater Operations Mark Markwort, Assistant City
Engineer John Neil and City Attorney Roy Hanley.
COMMUNITY FORUM: None
A. CONSENT CALENDAR:

Redevelopment Agency Minutes - April 27, 1999 - (Board Secretary recommendation:
Approve) [Marcia McClure Torgerson]
MOTION: By Board Member Luna and seconded by Board Member Arrambide
to approve Item #A-1.
Motion passed unanimously by a voice vote.
B. PROJECT STATUS REPORTS:
1. April 1999
Community and Economic Director Paul Saldana briefed the Board Member on the project
status report.

C. MANAGEMENT REPORTS:
Meeting Time - Change Agency bylaws to reflect new meeting times - Fiscal Impact:
None (Staff recommendation: Agency Board change Agency bylaws to reflect new
meeting times) [Paul Saldanal
Community and Economic Development Director Paul Saldana gave the staff report and
answered questions of the Board.
PULBIC COMMENT
John McGoff, 9192 Maple St., asked if there was a bylaw that allowed for change of bylaws.
City Attorney Roy Hanley said it was a given.
Mayor Johnson closed the Public Comment period.
MOTION: By Board Member Arrambide and seconded by Board Member
Clay to adopt recommendation of staff.
Motion failed 2: 3 by a roll -call vote.
D. ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Johnson adjourned the meeting at 1:09 a.m. to the next Regular Session on
May 25, 1999.
