REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 1998
(immediately following City Council Regular Session)
Chairman Carden called the Redevelopment Agency Meeting to order at 9:17 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Board Members Clay, Johnson, Lerno, Luna and Chairman Carden
Absent: None
Others Present: Marcia Torgerson, Secretary
Staff Present: City Manager Wade McKinney, Police Chief Dennis Hegwood, Fire Chief
Mike McCain, Community Services Director Brady Cherry,
Administrative Services Director Rachelle Rickard, Community and
Economic Development Director Paul Saldana, Streets Supervisor Brian
Sword and City Attorney Roy Hanley.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
MOTION: By Board Member Luna and seconded by Vice Chairman Johnson to
approve the agenda.
Motion passed 5:0 by a roll -call vote.
A. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Redevelopment Agency Minutes — September 8, 1998 — (City Clerk recommendation:
Approve) [Marcia Torgerson]
MOTION: By Board Member Luna and seconded by Vice Chairman Johnson to
approve the Consent Calendar.
Motion passed 5:0 by a roll -call vote.
Chairman Carden asked the City Attorney if they are required to have public comment during the
Redevelopment Agency Meeting. Mr. Hanley stated that it would be better practice to do so.
Chairman Carden asked the Secretary to add public comment to all future agendas.

Chairman Carden adjourned the Redevelopment Agency Meeting at 9:20 p.m. to the next
Regular Session of the City Council scheduled'on October 13, 1998.
