MINUTES
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING
TUESDAY, JANUARY 12,1999
(immediately following City Council Regular Session)
ROLL CALL:
Present: Board Members Arrambide, Clay, Lemo, Luna and Chairman Johnson
Absent: None
Others Present: Board Secretary Marcia Torgerson and City Treasurer David G. Graham
Staff Present: City Manager Wade McKinney, Police Chief Dennis Hegwood, Fire Chief
Mike McCain, Community Services Director Brady Cherry,
Administrative Services Director Rachelle Rickard, Community and
Economic Development Director Paul Saldana and City Attorney Roy
Hanley.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
MOTION: By Board Member Luna and seconded by Vice Chairman Arrambide
to approve the agenda.
Motion passed 5:0 by a roll -call vote.
COMMUNITY FORUM:
John McGoff, 9192 Maple St., thanked the Council for the opportunity to apply for the Planning
Commission. He also thanked Mr. McKinney for putting him on the City's mailing list. He also
thanked Mr. Saldana for attending the Homeowners Association meeting last night. Mr. McGoff
asked Mayor Johnson to discourage people in the audience from speaking during the meetings as
it is disruptive to others.
Chairman Johnson closed Community Forum.

A. CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. Redevelopment Agency Minutes — November 24, 1998 — (City Clerk
recommendation: Approve) [Marcia Torgerson]
2. Redevelopment Agency Minutes — December 8, 1998 — (City Clerk
recommendation: Approve) [Marcia Torgerson]
MOTION: By Board Member Luna and seconded by Board Member Lerno to
approve the Consent Calendar.
Motion passed 5:0 by a roll -call vote.
B. PROJECT STATUS REPORTS:
1. December 1998
Mr. Saldana stated that the Notice of Preparation of the Draft EIR was sent out during the
last week in December 1998. There will be a 30 -day review period.
C. ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Johnson adjourned the Redevelopment Agency Meeting at 10:00 p.m. to the next
meeting scheduled on January 26, 1999.
