RESOLUTION NO. 34-82
RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL DENYING
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GP820330:1 CONCERNING A CHANGE
IN LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM SUBURBAN SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
TO HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
WHEREAS, the Atascadero City Council conducted a public hearing on
the subject matter; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65323 provides that a general
plan be amended by the adoption of a o n; and
WHEREAS, approval of the Gen ral Plan Amendme t should not result
any significant adverse envi onmen 1 impact as long as appropriate
mitigation measures are intr d ced; and
WHEREAS, th proposed Gene 1 Plan am e dmentw uld encourage dev-
elopment which is not consiste t with pol' cies et forth in the 1980
Atascadero Gene Pla since it ould not ompatible with sur-
rounding land use and d sities; d
WHEREAS, the i tensity use whi wou occur from the proposed
project is t o charac r with a ' s i g and proposed uses in the
surrounding nei hbo hood.
