RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT CONTRACT WITH
THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the California Arts Council and the California State
Legislature have established a Local Partnership Program designed
to encourage local cultural planning and decision making and to
reach previously underserved constituencies; and
WHEREAS, a plan for the arts in San Luis Obispo County was
' submitted to and accepted by the California Arts Council at its
public meeting of April 30 , 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Atascadero City Coun-
cil does hereby designate the San Luis Obispo County Arts Council
to execute Standard Agreement Number AC-1951 in the form attached
and incorporated by reference herein provided that no financial
commitment from the City of Atascadero is required.
On motion by Councilman Nelson and seconded by Councilman
Mackey , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Highland, Mackey, Nelson, Stover and Mayor
Wilkins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
