MINUTES
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
ATASCADERO
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2002
6:30 P.M.
Chairman Luna called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Board Members Arrambide, Scalise, Clay and Chairman Luna
Absent: Board Member Johnson
Others Present: City Treasurer David Graham and Deputy City Clerk Grace Pucci
Staff Present: Assistant City Manager Brady Cherry, Board Treasurer Rachelle
Rickard, Community Development Director Warren Frace, Public
Works Director Steve Kahn, Fire Chief Kurt Stone, Police Chief
Dennis Hegwood and City Attorney Roy Hanley.
COMMUNITY FORUM:
Glenda Wright, Executive Director Atascadero Main Street, gave a progress report
on the Main Street Program: 1) Economic Restructuring Committee has completed
their report on zoning changes and the report is currently at the City for
consideration, 2) Design Committee is working on a sign ordinance proposal,
streetscape designs and costs for the area around the Carlton, and a sunken garden
project with a student from Cal Poly, 3) Promotion Committee has planned an
Easter Egg Hunt for March 30 and additional events to coincide with the Cruise
Night and Wine Festival, and 4) Mixers are planned through August. Ms. Wright
answered questions of the Board.

MOTION: By Board Member Arrambide and seconded by Vice Chairman
Clay to approve the agenda.

Board Member Johnson arrived at 6:40 p.m.

MOTION: By Board Member Arrambide and seconded by Vice Chairman

Chairman Luna adjourned the meeting at 6:41 p.m. to the next regularly scheduled
meeting on February 26, 2002.
