RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT FOR
INSURANCE COVERAGES
T H E C I T Y C 0 U N C I L
' City of Atascadero, California
RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Atascadero
hereby approves entering into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agree-
ment for Insurance Coverages between the City of Atascadero and
the Cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover City, Morro Bay, Paso Robles,
Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Paula relative to forming
' a Risk Management Insurance Authority to obtain excess liability
insurance coverage and excess workers compensation coverage claims
administration and claim prevention services pertaining thereto,
' which Agreement is on file in the City Clerk' s office and incor-
porated herein by reference.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute all necessary documents on
behalf of the City of Atascadero; and pursuant to the provisions
of said Agreement , the City Manager is hereby appointed said
' City ' s representative to the Board of Authority, and the Director
of �Tinance is hereby appointed the alternate.
' On motion by Councilman Highland and seconded by Councilman
Stover , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES : Councilmen Highland, Mackey, Nelson, Stover, and Mayor
Wilkins
NOES : None
ABSENT None
