RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA,ACCEPTING OFFER OF DEDICATION
OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
(Traffic Way/Chico Road)
WHEREAS, Harold and Gloria Myers, hereinafter termed Offeror, made an offer to
dedicate, irrevocably to the public, an easement for public road purposes which may be accepted at
any time by any governmental entity which has the power to establish, contract and maintain roads;
and,
WHEREAS, the Offeror, on February 9, 2000, recorded the Irrevocable and Perpetual
Offer to Dedicate dated January 27, 1999 in Doc. No. 2000-006992 of the Official Records of San
Luis Obispo County; and,
WHEREAS,the offer of dedication was a required condition of The Lakes project to allow
for widening of the Traffic Way/Chico Road intersection; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council, on February 26, 2002, accepted the offer of dedication,
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Atascadero:
SECTION 1. Acceptance of Offer of Dedication. That City Council does recognize that it
accepted the offer of dedication of a public right-of-way for road purposes and incidental uses as
described in Doc. No. 2000-006992, recorded on February 9, 2000, in the Official Records of San
Luis Obispo County.
On motion by Council Member O'Malley and seconded by Council Member Luna, the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Luna,O'Malley,Pacas, Scalise and Mayor Clay
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: October 14, 2003
