NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL
& PLANNING COMMISSION STUDY SESSION
REGARDING THE WOODLAND'S SPECIFIC PLAN
(ZCH 2003-0041 )
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council and Planning Commission of the City of
Atascadero will conduct a study session on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, commencing at City
Hall in the Rotunda Room, 4th Floor, 6500 Palma Avenue, Atascadero, at 2:00 P.M. or soon
thereafter to receive a presentation from the project applicant and followed by a walking tour of
the project site. Staff has coordinated this study session for the purpose of receiving
Commission and Council comments to be incorporated into the proposed project prior to any
formal public hearings for the project.

Title:
Project East side of Halcon Road between Viejo Camino and the Union
Location: Pacific Railroad tracks
(San Luis Obispo County); APN 045-311-001, 045-401-014, 045-
401-016, 045-411-001, 045-412-001
Project A proposed Specific Plan including a mix of residential uses including
Description: 28 small-lot, 94 traditional lots, and 21 custom lot single-family
residential uses, 135 multi-family residential units, commercial use
and open space on a 120-acre site. The proposed uses are in
compliance with the General Plan Land Use, Housing and Specific
Plan requirements.
Presentation The applicant will provide a detailed one-hour presentation at the

Visit in which the applicant will provide a guided walking tour of the site.
The site visit will involve walking along dirt trails in hilly terrain. Participants are
encouraged to dress appropriately. This is a public meeting and the public may attend
