Chairperson Fonzi called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: By Committee Member Kelley and seconded by Committee
Member Cooper to approve the Agenda.
Motion passed 4:0 by a roll -call vote. (DeCarli Absent)

CONSENT CALENDAR
(All items on the consent calendar are considered to be routine and non -controversial by City Staff and will
be approved by one motion if no member of the Committee or public wishes to comment or ask questions.)
1. APPROVAL OF THE ACTION MINUTES OF DECEMBER 15.2011.
MOTION: By Committee Member Kelley and seconded by Committee
Member Ward to approve the minutes.
Motion passed 4:0 by a roll -call vote. (DeCarli Absent)
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT REVIEW
2. PLN 2011-1424,9990 EL CAMINO REAL (HAWKINS)
Second DRC review of storage building on commercial site.
Associate Planner Taylor presented the staff report. Issues included the following:
1. Remove parking lines/colored asphalt.
2. Landscape shrubs/no artificial.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Mike Hawkins stated that there are no eating areas around BBQ. Likes it the way it is; pictures
easier than plans.

MOTION: By Committee Member Fonzi and seconded by Committee
Member Kelley to approve site plan and architecture approved
as submitted by applicant subject to the following:
• Staff and applicant to coordinate on planting additional
shrubs around the street side of the storage building.
