A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
aw THE CITY OF ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION
FOR PROPOSITION 1B FUNDING
WHEREAS, by the City Council of the City of Atascadero that the construction of a Transit
Center would benefit the residents of and visitors to, Atascadero; and
WHEREAS, that approximately $14-15 Million in Proposition 1B funding will be available in San
Luis Obispo County over the next five years to fund transit-related capital projects; and
WHEREAS, that the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) is the agency
authorized to program Proposition 113 funds on a competitive basis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Atascadero desires
to seek $2.5 Million in Proposition 1B funding for the construction of a Transit Center in the City of
Atascadero.
On motion by Council Member O'Malley and seconded by Council Member Brennler, the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Beraud, Brennler, Clay, O'Malley and Mayor Luna
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: October 9, 2007
