A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO CONFIRMING DOWNTOWN
PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA ASSESSMENT FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Main Street, Inc., Board filed a report with the City in
accordance with Section 36533 of the Streets & Highway Code of the State of California; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council having received the report adopted Resolution 2007-020
declaring intent to levy annual Downtown Parking and Business Improvement Area assessment
pursuant to Section 36534 of said code; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix a time and place for a public hearing on the levy
of the proposed assessment for fiscal year 2007-2008; and,
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2007, the City Council conducted a public hearing at the date
and time for such purpose; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did not receive the required number of protests for the
levy of such assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Atascadero does hereby confirm approval of the
Section 36533 Report as originally filed and conformation of approval of such report constitutes
the levy of an assessment for fiscal year 2007-2008, pursuant to the Streets &Highway Code of
the State of California.
2. That Atascadero Main Street, Inc. is hereby designated to receive and manage
Downtown Parking and Business Improvement Area assessment funds for fiscal year 2007-2008.
BE IT FURHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs staff to make appropriations
in the City's budget in accordance with such report.

On motion by Council Member O'Malley and seconded by Council Member Clay, the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Beraud, Brennler, Clay, O'Malley and Mayor Luna
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: June 12, 2007
