CALL TO ORDER:
Council Member Moreno called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
Members Present: Council Members Heather Moreno and Brian Sturtevant, City Treasurer
Joe Modica
Staff Present: City Manager Wade McKinney, Administrative Services Director
Rachelle Rickard
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
BUSINESS:
1. Review of Draft Budget
Administrative Services Director Rickard distributed copies of the Draft Budget to
the Committee. The Draft Budget will go before the City Council on June 11, 2013,
for adoption.
Director Rickard explained that although economic recovery will be long and slow,
it is starting to pick up. She added that no further hits are expected from the State.
Director Rickard stated that labor negotiations are currently in progress and
assumptions are reflected in the Draft Budget. She added that Walmart revenues
have been pushed out, based on the appeal. Tax revenues are projected to bump
up in 2016-17 due to Walmart and Spring Hill projects.
Director Rickard discussed revisions that were made since April and answer ed
questions from the Committee.

Council Member Moreno adjourned the meeting at 5:53 p.m.
