Determine ongoing meeting schedule for the Design Review Committee.
2. DRC PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS
The Design Review Committee was established by the Atascadero City Council in
August 2010. Municipal Code Section 9-2.107 identifies the purpose, authority, and
approval criteria for the DRC.
3. APPEARANCE REVIEW MANUAL DISCUSSION
The Atascadero City Council adopted the current Appearance Review Manual in 1987.
Additional Downtown Design Guidelines were added in 2000. The DRC may consider
an update to the Appearance Review Manual as a first item of business for the
Committee. Any changes to the Appearance Review Manual would need to be adopted
by the City Council.
