A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
DESIGNATING A "NO PARKING" ZONE
ON WEST MALL AT THE INTERSECTION WITH PALMA AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 4-2.1101 et sequence of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the
location of NO PARKING areas, and to place and maintain
appropriate signs or markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS , the Traffic Committee has studied the traffic
concerns at the intersection of West Mall and Palma Avenues, and
have recommended a NO PARKING ZONE be established on West Fall at
the northeast and southwest corners for a distance of 20 feet
from the intersection of Palma Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Atascadero
directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain
appropriate signs or markings, as indicated above.
On motion by Councilmember MACKEY and seconded by
Councilmember BORGE90N the foregoing resolution is
hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS BORGESON, BOURBEAU, HANDSITY, MACKEY AND MAYOR MORRIS
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
