RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF CROSSWALKS
ON EL CAMINO REAL, SAN ANSELMO AND VALDEZ AVENUES
WHEREAS, Section 4 .2 .404 et . seg. of the Atascadero
Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the
location of Traffic Control devices , and to place and maintain
appropriate signs or markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS , it has been determined by the City Traffic
Engineer that crosswalks are appropriate and warranted at these
locations .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero
directs the Traffic Engineer to oversee the installation of
crosswalks on El Camino Real at San Anselmo (East) , across San
Anselmo at El Camino Real and. across Valdez Avenue at El Camino
as illustrated in Exhibit A attached hereto .
On Motion by Councilman MACKEY ,and seconded by
Councilman BOURBEAU ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby
adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote :
AYES : COUNCILMEMBERS BORGESON, BOURBEAU, HANDSITY, MACKEY & MAYOR NORRIS
NOES : NONE
ABSENT : NONE
