Dear Sir or Madam:
I am Chief Counsel for Americans for Safe Access ("ASA"), which is the largest
organization devoted to protecting the rights of medical marijuana patients. I write to ask
you to reconsider your ban on medical marijuana dispensaries in light of the recently
published decision in City of Lake Forest v. Evergreen Holistic Collective. G043909.
In Evergreen, supra. the court held that "local governments may not impose a per se
ban on medical marijuana dispensaries without contradicting state law." Based on this
holding, I ask that you rescind your per se ban on medical marijuana dispensaries.
