A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
APPOINTING FOUR (4) MEMBERS TO THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, four vacancies have occurred on the City Parks &
Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No 101 relating
to the establishment of a City Parks & Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, public advertisements soliciting interest in ap-
pointment to the Parks & Recreation Commission have been
published; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did receive nine applications for
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on July 14 , 1986 , consider 8
candidates for appointment to the Parks & Recreation Commission;
and
WHEREAS, on July 14 , 1986 , the City Council did vote for
specific nominees to the Parks & Recreation Commission
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero
does resolve to appoint SHEILA A KIRCHER to the Parks &
Recreation Commission to fill the unexpired term which ends Aug-
ust 13, 1988 , and to make the following appointments for terms of
four years, expiring July 14, 1990
1. JUDITH McKRELL
2. JOHN H HARRIS
3. DIANA MARIE COOPER
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero does
further resolve that this resolution shall take effect immediate-
ly.
On motion by COUNCILMAN HANDSITY and seconded by COUNCILMAN
MOLINA , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety by the following roll-call vote
AYES COUNCILMEMBERS BORGESON, HANDSITY, MOLINA AND MAYOR MACKEY
NOES NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILWOMAN NORRIS
