RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO DESIGNATING A NO PARKING
ZONE ON THE WEST SIDE OF SAN ANDREAS BETWEEN
NAVARATTE AND EL RETIRO
WHEREAS, Section 4-2. 1101 et sequence of the Atascadero Municipal
Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the location of
NO PARKING areas, and to place and maintain appropriate signs or
markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has recommended that
prohibiting vehicles from parking on the west side of San Andreas
between Navarette and El Retiro will eliminate a off-street parking
situation that has been determined to be a nuisance to the residents
of the neighborhood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero
directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate
signs or markings indicating a NO PARKING AREA on the west side
of San Andreas from Navarette to El Retiro.
On Motion by Councilwoman Mackey ,and seconded by Councilman
Handshy ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its
1%W entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCIIIIEMBERS HANDSITY, MACKEY, NORRIS & MAYOR NELSON
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN MOLINA
