RESOLUTION NO. 2010-059
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA
CREATING A TEMPORARY CRUISE ROUTE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Atascadero that the Hot El Camino
Cruise Nite route is hereby established as: El Camino Real, from Curbaril Avenue to Entrada,
Entrada to Lewis Avenue, and Lewis Avenue to Traffic Way, then returning to El Camino Real.
Additionally, San Luis Avenue, from Curbaril Avenue to Pueblo Avenue and Pueblo Avenue,
from San Luis Avenue to El Camino Real, will be closed for "cruise" registration and traffic
only.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in order to provide a closed route for the cruise, the
area described above is designated as a tow-away zone from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., on August
20, 2010; as it is within the cruise route, Palma Avenue from Entrada to Traffic Way will also be
designated as a tow-away zone from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on August 20, 2010.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLED that in order to provide a location for the Cruise Nite
"Street Dance", Entrada Avenue, from El Camino Real to Palma, will be additionally designated
as a tow-away zone from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., August 20, 2010.
On motion by Council Member Clay and seconded by Council Member Beraud, the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Members Beraud, Clay, Kelley, O'Malley and Mayor Fonzi
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
