A RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"), by Resolution No.
RDA 1999-001 on April 14, 1999, submitted to the City Council (the "City Council") Report to
the City Council on the Atascadero Redevelopment Plan("Plan") and consented to and requested
that the City Council call a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council to consider
and act upon the proposed Plan; and
WHEREAS,the City Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed Plan, along with the
Report to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 33451 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health
and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.), authorized a joint public hearing on the proposed Plan
with the consent of the Agency and the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The City Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the Agency, calls
a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council on June 29, 1999, at 7:00 p.m., in the
City Council Chambers to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan and all
documents and evidence pertaining thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Atascadero shall prepare, publish and mail
such notices and documents and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes
of this resolution.
This resolution is effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Atascadero City Council this 251'day of May, 1999 by
the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Arrambide, Luna and Mayor Johnson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Members Clay and Lerno abstained
