RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT A
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE WILL BE SERVED BY ALLOWING THE
ISSUANCE OF AN EXPANDED ALCOHOL LICENSE AT
5855 EL CAMINO REAL
ON APN 029-323-018

WHEREAS, an application has been received from Kurt Kennedy (1940 Laguna del Campo,
Templeton, CA 93465) Property Owner, and Dalton Holladay (5855 El Camino Real, Atascadero,
CA 93422) Applicant, to request that the City Council make a finding of public convenience or
necessity to allow the Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) to issue a beer, wine, and
distilled spirits on-sale license to a current beer and wine establishment at 5855 El Camino Real,
(APN 029-323-018), and,
WHEREAS, the site's current General Plan Designation is D (Downtown), and,
WHEREAS, the site's current Zoning Designation is DC (Downtown Commercial), and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that public convenience will be served by the
ow issuance of an on-site sale beer, wine, and distilled spirits license to a current beer and wine
establishment at 5855 El Camino Real, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Atascadero held a public hearing on October 27,
2009 to consider the proposed application, and,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero, hereby resolves to approve
PLN 2009-1340

Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote
AYES Council Members Clay, Fonzi, O'Malley and Mayor Beraud
