RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATASCADERO
CREATING LEFT TURN ONLY LANES ON CURBARIL AVENUE AT
EL CAMINO REAL AND ELIMINATING PARKING WITHIN 50 '
OF THE INTERSECTION ON CURBARIL
WHEREAS, Sections 4-2. 601 and 4-2. 1101 et sequence of the
Atascadero Municipal Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to deter-
mine the location of No Parking Areas and to establish left turn lanes
when appropriate, and to place and maintain appropriate signs or
markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has recommended that
establishing Left Turn Only lanes on Curbaril Avenue at E1 Camino
Real and prohibiting parking within 50 ' of the intersection on
Curbaril Avenue will relieve a congested traffic condition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero
directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate
sings or markings indicating Left Turn Only lanes on Curbaril at
El Camino Real and prohibiting parking within 50 ' of the intersection
on Curbaril.
On Motion by COUNCILMAN HANDSITY ,and seconded by COUNCILWOMAN
MACKEY , the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following roll call vote :
AYES: COUNCILMENBERS HANDSITY, MACKEY, MOLINA, NORRIS AND MAYOR
