RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ATASCADERO DESIGNATING A NO PARKING
ZONE ON SOLANO AVENUE AT EL CAMINO REAL
WHEREAS, Section 4-2. 1101 et sequence of the Atascadero Municipal
Code allows the City Traffic Engineer to determine the location of
NO PARKING areas, and to place and maintain appropriate signs or
markings indicating the same; and
WHEREAS, the Atascadero Traffic Committee has recommended that
prohibiting vehicles from parking on the south side of Solano Avenue
within 20 ' of El Camino Real and the North Side of Solano Avenue
from El Camino Real to La Linia will alleviate congested traffic
conditions,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Atascadero
directs the City Traffic Engineer to place and maintain appropriate
signs or markings indicating a NO PARKING AREA on the north side
of Solano from E1 Camino Real to La Linia and on the South side
from El Camino Real 20 ' east.
On Motion by COUNCILMAN HANDSITY ,and seconded by COUNCIL-
T-TOMAN MACKEY ,the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS HANDSITY, MACKEY, MOLINA, NORRIS AND 14AYOR
NELSON.
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
