RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
ADOPTING POSITION CLASSIFICATION
OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, the Assistant to the City Manager and Finance Director
positions are currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that the
City would be more efficiently served by a new Department Head
position responsible for personnel and finance functions; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that no additional costs will be
incurred in the creation of the Administrative Services Director
position.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Atascadero City Council approves the creation
of the Administrative Services Director classification and authorizes
recruitment of same.
On motion by Councilperson Molina and seconded
by Councilperson Handshy , the foregoing resolution
is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Handshy, Mackey , Molina & Norris and Mayor
Nelson
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
