RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
ENGAGING ROBERT M. JONES AS CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, due to the recent death of City Attorney Allen Grimes,
the City is in need of legal counsel; and
WHEREAS, the City conducted an extensive search and recruit-
ment for Contract City Attorney services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed respondent attorney
proposals.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Atascadero here-
by appoints Robert M. Jones as City Attorney, and authorizes the Mayor
to enter into the attached Compensation Agreement.
On motion by Councilperson Molina and seconded by
Handshy F the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in
its entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Handshy & Molina and Mayor Nelson
NOES: Councilmembers Mackey & Norris
ABSENT: NONE
ADOPTED: 9/9/85
