RESOLUTION NO. 51-85
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO AUTHORIZING SELECTED CAPITAL
OUTLAY EXPENDITURES FOR THE PLANNING
DEPARTMENT IN FISCAL YEAR 1984/85 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Atascadero wishes to facili-
tate efficiencies in the provision of planning and building services
within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department is currently overcrowded in its
facilities in Rooms 102 and 103 of the Administration Building; and
WHEREAS, the permanent relocation and expansion of these facili-
ties has been necessarily delayed pending resolution of the location
of the library within the Administration Building; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide efficient office space for
planning and building functions; and
WHEREAS, this may be accomplished by relocation to Rooms 311 and
312 and minimum improvements to said space pending detailed renova-
tion plans and construction; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department will have unexpended funds at the
completion of Fiscal Year 1984/85 which may be used for the purpose of
relocation and greater efficiency.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Atascadero resolves as
follows:
Section 1.
Authorizes the following capital outlay expenditures to be
encumbered:
EX 3015 - Planning Desk Copier $700.00
EX 3510 - Planning Office Remodel $5,000 .00
On motion by Councilman Molina and seconded by Councilwoman
Mackey the foregoing resolution is adopted in its entirety by
the following roll call vote:
AYES : Councilmen Molina & Handshy, Councilwomen Mackey & Norris
and Mayor Nelson.
NOES : NONE
ABSENT: NONE
