RESOLUTION OF THE ATASCADERO CITY COUNCIL
SETTING AN APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR
FISCAL PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985
WHEREAS, Section 7900 of the Government Code, as added by Chapter
200 of the Statutes of 1980 , Division 9, provides for the effective
and efficient implementation of Article XIIIB of California
Constitution; and
WHEREAS, Section 7901 and 7913 of Chapter 1205 , provides that
each year the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by
resolution, establish its appropriations limit at a regularly
scheduled meeting and, 15 days prior to such meeting, documentation
used in the determination of the appropriations limit shall be
available to the public; and
WHEREAS, the base year appropriation limit for Fiscal Year 1980-
81 has been established, per Senate Bill 1495, by Resolution Number
18-81; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge shall be commenced
within 45 days of the effective date of this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Atascadero City Council
does hereby set the appropriations limit for the fiscal period July
1, 1984 through June 30 , 1985 as $3,410 ,879 . Documentation used in
the determination of the appropriations limit is available to the
public in the Finance Department, Administration Building, 6500
- Palma, Room 208, Atascadero, California.
On motion by Councilman Handshy , and seconded by Councilman
Molina , the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted in its
entirety on the following vote:
AYES: Councilwoman Norris and Mackey, Councilman Molina and Handshy
and Mayor Nelson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADOPTED: January 14, 1985
