HomeMy WebLinkAboutRA 001-2009 Main Street Rental Agmt 6550 El Camino RealAGREEMENT Jhis AGREEMENT is made and entered into this /© day of C 2009 by and between the ATASCADERO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (hereinafter called the "RDA"), and the ATASCADERO MAIN STREET (hereinafter called the "Main Street") WITNESSETH 1 DESCRIPTION The RDA hereby allows Main Street, and Main Street hereby agrees, to rent the structure located at 6550 EI Camino Real 2 TERM This agreement shall commence on May 1, 2009 and shall continue for a period of five (5) years ending on April 30, 2014, unless canceled by either party upon 30 days' written notice to the other party, or extended by mutual consent in writing 3 RENT The Premises are offered to Main Street for use at the cost of $1 00 per year to Main Street. 4 PURPOSE. Main Street will use the Premises as needed for their operations. 5 HOLD HARMLESS Main Street agrees to take the Premises as is and agrees further to indemnify, defend and hold the RDA harmless for any damages, injuries, losses, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, costs and legal damages, arising from any injury or damage negligently or otherwise caused by Main Street or suffered by Main Street in connection with Main Street's use of the Premises For the purposes of this paragraph, "Main Street" shall include all Main Street's agents and invitees 6 NOTICES All notices and correspondence herein provided to be given, or which may be given by either party to the other, shall be deemed to have been fully given when made in writing and deposited in the United States Postal Service, certified and postage prepaid, and addressed as follows Parties to Agreement: Community Redevelopment Agency (RDA) Telephone (805) 470-3400 Attn Executive Director 6907 EI Camino Real Atascadero, CA 93422 Atascadero Main Street Telephone (805) 462-0177 Attn Steve Martin Executive Director 6550 EI Camino Real Atascadero, CA 93422 IRV #4812-0071-4499 v All notices and correspondence shall reference Main Street and the address of the Premises.
