Water Quality Control Board's Proposed Basin
Plan Amendments for Septic Systems
TOPICS:
• Recent changes in the State's septic system requirements
• Status of the State Water Board review of the Region 3 Basin Plan
• Water Board's November 14, 2008, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
scoping meeting on the Development of an Implementation Policy for Regulation
of Onsite Wastewater Systems
• City staff will be collecting residents' comments and will provide them to the
Water Board prior to the November 14, 2008, CEQA scoping meeting
ADJOURNMENT The City Council and Planning Commission will adjourn to their
next regularly scheduled meetings.

Present: Council Members Clay, O'Malley and Mayor Beraud
Council Members Elect Fonzi and Kelley
Planning Commissioners Heatherington, Marks, O'Grady, O'Keefe
and Moreno
Others Present: Community Development Director Warren Frace and Deputy Public
Works Director David Athey
Mr Athey gave a presentation concerning the San Luis Obispo County Regional Water
Quality Control Board and Mr Frace reviewed the CEQA scoping meeting scheduled for
November 14, 2008
