RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO ACCEPT THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE OPEN SPACE
AREAS OF THE WOODLANDS SPECIFIC PLAN
WHEREAS, the ("it) Cmncil approved the Woodlands Specific Plan on September
2007 insisting cf plan for approximately 120 cies of residential, nrimeicial, and ipen space
development; md.
WHEREAS, the City Council rpptoved and dopted the Woodridge Landscaping and
Lighting Uisuicl No. rn May !d, 20115, thereby establishing in assessment district far the purpose
if funding ipen space nfrastmcture and improvements; md,
WHEREAS, City staff ill be responsible to mtractor for the mgoing maintenance of the
public improvements, and.
WHEREAS. the public improvements ithin the open span: areas as defined in Exhibits A
and B attached hereto, have been substantially ompleted and may now be epted tot the benefit
of the public: aid,
WHEREAS the public improvements within the open space areas as defined in Exhibits A
and B, attached hereto, are subject to a nre-year watranty period defined in the Subdivision
Improvement Agreement; and,
WHEREAS the City will retain ten percent 110"Ioi of the posted bonds as dIateral for
performance if any necessary repairs, dutine the one year warranty period.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the( try C mcil of the (.itv if
Atascadero:
SECTION 1. The City C iunciI docs hereby direct the Public Works Director to cept the
puhlic improvements rrthin the ,pen space areas if the Woodlands Specific Plan, more particularly
described Exhibits A and B attached hereto.

On motion by Council Member Clay and seconded by Council Member Fonzi the
foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted in its entirety on the following roll call vote
AYES Council Members Clay Fonzi Kelley O Malley and Mayor Beraud
