City of Atascadero 6500 Palma Avenue — Room 102 - Atascadero, California CALL TO ORDER Roll Call: Warren Frace, Community Development Director Steve McHarris, Planning Services Manager Glenn Rider, Associate Planner PUBLIC COMMENT (This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Hearing Officer on any matter not on this agenda and over which the Commission has jurisdiction. Speakers are limited to five minutes. Please state your name and address for the record before making your presentation. The Commission may take action to direct the staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda) PUBLIC HEARINGS (For each of the following items, the public will be given an opportunity to speak. After a staff report, the Chair will open the public hearing and invite the applicant or applicant's representative to make any comments. Members of the public will be invited to provide testimony to the Commission following the applicant. Speakers should state their name and address for the record and can address the Commission for five minutes. After all public comments have been received, the public hearing will be closed, and the Commission will discuss the item and take appropriate action(s).) 1. Home Occu ation Business License Revocation Applicant: Mike Minety Project Title: Home Occupation Business License Revocation Project 9009 San Rafael Road, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo County Location: APN 056-211-043 Project To consider revocation of a home occupation business at a single family residence Description: within the Residential Suburban zoning district located at 9009 San Rafael Road due to a change in project description/site activities. Request for 2 Additional Monument Sins Applicant: Jim Shores Project Title: Monument Signs on Traffic Way Project 4205 — 4435 Traffic Way, Atascadero, CA Location: APN 049-033-018, 19, 20 Project A request for two additional monument signs for new industrial development in Description: the Industrial Zoning District at 4205 — 4435 Traffic Way. The additional monument signs can be approved through the approval of an Administrative Use Permit, which is intended to allow for public review of land proposals which are not of sufficient magnitude or complexity to warrant a Planning Commission hearing, but which could have a noticeable impact on the neighborhood. Environmental Class 5 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Section 15305) Analysis exempts minor lot line adjustment, side yard, and setback variances not resulting in the creation of a new parcel. ADJOURNMENT Please note: Should anyone challenge in court any proposed development entitlement listed on this Agenda, that person may be limited to raising those issues addressed at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission atlor prior to this public hearing.
